This is a design development project for an industrial smart scale designed to automate raw material inventory management in food manufacturing facilities. Through user experience design, it is designed to minimize operational errors by users of various nationalities and ages in the unique environment of manufacturing facilities. Physical buttons with simplified functions for easy learning and use are designed to be tactilely distinguishable with visualized icons, and LEDs distinguished by color are added to further reduce the possibility of errors.

The formal motif was taken from the multi-layered ornaments seen in the columns of Gothic architecture that have endured for many years. The lower and upper parts, which are bent in layers, give a solid and sturdy feel, while the rounded corners prevent it from looking too mechanical.
